Body Respect = Fat Weight-Loss

RESPECTING your body is the first step towards gaining control of your body’s fat weight, therefore calming your feelings and emotions, thereby making it easier to shed unwanted pounds.  Start by looking in the mirror and making YOU love yourself as you are.  If you don’t make YOU love yourself, then you won’t be successful at reaching your weight loss goal.  So, go ahead, love yourself as you are and plan your weight loss success.  Respect your body!

Next, start an exercise program (consult with your physician before beginning), For instance, dancing with your mirror as your partner to your favorite tune (for those who can’t stand, sit and dance).  If dancing is not your thing, then just march and step around while you feel the beat. If you’re not used to exercising, make sure to start out slow.  Exercising at least three time per week for twenty to thirty minutes, shows much respect and appreciation for your body.  The muscle, bones, and organs need this in order to stay strong and healthy, so just do it. Respect your body!

Then, show your body respect by feeding all of it’s cells the proper nutrients designed for it.  The nutrients found in foods are the same nutrients your body needs to fight cancer causing agents and other diseases.  Start with fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins (mainly legumes, etc) and some dairy products while using sugar and fat sparingly.  Notice, I said fresh!  Meaning besides animal products, most of your foods should be eaten in its natural state.  The point is, there is nothing that grows from the ground or from a tree (for human consumption) that needs to be cooked before it is eaten.  The 66 plus nutrients found in vegetation that are vital for good health, are  mostly destroyed during the cooking process.  Try eating raw spinach, for it is abundant in nutrients, yes very potent.  Don’t forget WATER! Water is a nutrient too and is more important for good health than many realize.  Besides quenching your thirst, it regulates your body’s temperature and helps to flush out various toxins stored in your body’s cells. Your body’s cells will shout with joy and party feeling revived and alive.  So, if you’re not drinking at least eight cups of safe water and eating foods that are NOT cooked to death, then I’m afraid your body is not getting enough of the proper nutrients it needs, therefore your body is not being respected.  Respect your body!

Now, as I was saying, if your body needs the raw nutrients found in vegetation and safe water, then show some respect and GIVE YOUR BODY WHAT IT NEEDS! Therefore, ignoring your spoiled taste buds.  Keep in mind, it’s OK to bake, broil, boil, steam and fry foods some of the time, for this is how you ad a little wild spicy fun to life.  But do remember, the body needs the raw nutrients found in vegetation and safe water in order to ward off disease.  The taste buds should not dictate what your body as a whole takes in.  Control your taste buds, they can learn to love healthier foods too instead of the high amounts of fats, sugars and salts that are found in most processed foods that cause fat weight gain and, therefore could lead to you not loving yourself and eventually, could lead bad health.  Respect your body!

Also, Keeping your feeling and emotions in order is another very much needed form of respect.  Tap into your feelings and emotions to see if you are feeling low or depressed about matters, happenings or situations whether it is in your control to change the outcome or not.  Always remember, you can control your feelings and emotions thru self-talk, but you can’t always control the outcome of matters, happenings and situations.  Always examine matters, happenings and situation that arise, then do the best you can to resolve them.  If you can’t resolve them, then except your lot in life.  Respect your organs by not allowing depressed to arise, for depression causes the body to release bad hormones that can cause damage to precious organs.  Take Note of  your unhappy moments and replace these moments with JOY.  Joy comes from within, being thankful for life itself and for what you do have in life.  And, of course until you master this technique, please remember that exercising burns bad hormones out of your system and produces beta endorphins that help you feel better.   And never forget to laugh often even if what you’re laughing at isn’t so funny or if you think something is boring.  Boring is fun too, it keeps you out of trouble.  Respect your body!

Finally, and last but not least, think  about not defiling your body.  Do your utmost to AVOID taking in substances that can destroy the body and its immune system such as smoking, excessive drinking of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs and  pollutting cancer causing agents.  Respect your body!

Yes, if you want to control your weight gain and lose weight, respecting your body is the key and the first step to change.  If your body is shown love and respect it will be filled with JOY, thereby  giving you what you want, A REWARDING SUCCESSFUL WEIGHT-LOSS!
